We are raising £2,500 to provide a publicly accessible defibrillator for the 450+ homes and businesses within the defibrillator 200-metre radius area of Ashley Road [part], Brook Road, Cottage Gardens, Farcroft Road [part], Granville Road, Phyldon Close, Phyldon Road [part], Uppleby Road [part] and Wesley Road [part].

Did you know that 97% of Cardiac Arrest patients die, if untreated? With rapid treatment i.e. CPR and a defibrillator, survival to Hospital can be raised in theory to around the 70% mark. In this area, it means that one life could be saved every two years.

The defibrillator will be easy to use and easily accessible – situated on the wall and next to the main entrance of the Phyldon Close Community Hall which can also be accessed via the footpath from Uppleby Road. If you dial 999 for any Cardiac Arrest patient in the 200-metre radius, you will be directed to the Phyldon Close Defibrillator - when it is sited there and operational.

With your help, we can get this life saving defibrillator up and running in a matter of months.

Your donation would mean so much. Thank you sincerely.
