The Community Heartbeat Trust Charity

About us

We are a small National Charity,  formed in 2009 to provide a grass roots approach to community life saving in the event of Cardiac Arrest. Our goals are to equip the general public in England, Scotland and Wales with the knowledge, equipment and support to produce life-saving outcomes based upon the chain of survival, with a specific focus on helping non-medically trained people become life-savers.

  • The UK's leading Community Defibrillator Charity
  • Working with over 7500 communities in partnership to fundraise, provide and install defibrillator projects
  • 250,000+ members of the public have attended our awareness sessions on CPR and Basic Life Support
  • 6000+ of our partnership defibs have been deployed to rescues!
  • The UK's only official provider of AED schemes for Telephone kiosks
